What The World Needs Now....

“What the world needs now is love sweet love!”-by Jackie Deshan (1965)

An oldie and goodie!!

What we need more of in these crazy times, Yes??

Celebration is a strand in the web of love that we create every day, every moment there's opportunity.

And many of those everyday moments can include choosing to repair a relationship, say we are sorry, tell someone we love them, do something that builds trust, give a hug, develop an agreement that becomes a ritual that works for you and someone you love...and the list goes on.

Sunday March 14th at 4 pm PST We are celebrating the launch of our newly minted relationship guidebooks!  And in the same breath, same moment in time, celebrating how each of us can and does give, offer, receive and ask for love!

Lifting each other up!

Celebration is a way of acknowledging and lifting up the ordinary to see it’s extraordinariness!

Together let’s weave a web of love around the world.

Here are a few relational celebrations I have from the past few days:

  1. Sitting out in the orchard in the early afternoon warmth and sunshine with six friends, circled up, drums between our knees, learning how to tone and slap and bass a gembe! Smiles and laughter all around as we fumbled and flowed together! (creating community connection)

  2. Sharing Ross Gay’s The Book of Delight with some Portland friends, because it’s the library read in Multanomah county and you can get a free copy of it. It’s soooooo good! Talk about a relational wizard, this guy has it going on. (inspiration)

  3. Sitting on zoom last night, with a group of mostly unknown folks, sharing and role playing nonviolent communication and feeling like friends at the end of the call! (reaching out)

Pause here.

Take a moment to reflect on the last day or so. A moment when you gave or received something:

A smile from a stranger.

Thanked a tree, a flower, the earth and sky.

A text or call you made to a friend or family member.

A love note you received.

A snuggle with a pet.

Now. CELEBRATE whatever it was. Do a little dance. Swing your arms up and howl. Sit still and breathe in the memory.

Let’s elevate the vibration of love in these crazy times!!

And Join Casey, Jess and I-----Sunday March 14th at 4 pm PST to celebrate together.
