7 Ways to Celebrate the Small Stuff!
Happy October…
As the days grow shorter my desire to connect with you grows longer! (smiling here!)
I wanted to share with you some of the ways I celebrate regularly. As the traditional big holiday season rolls around, which can be full of joy and connection for some, and lonely and stressful for others, having a fresh plan and new idea's can be helpful!
And
My way of celebration isn’t necessarily yours. My wish is that it sparks you to find yours.
Seven of the ways I celebrate:
I am a beginning ukulele player. I love the feel and texture of the wood and the sound of the strings. Lately I’ve been celebrating by playing RIptide by Vance Joy…the strumming pattern is a stretch and getting the vocals right a challenge, and it makes me smile every time.
There is a beauty of a 200 year old Ponderosa Tree in my neighborhood park. It’s boughs almost touch the ground. When I want to celebrate I amble over to the park (which is a delight in itself!), slip under those almost to the ground branches, lean against the wide red bark of the tree, breathe in the vanilla scent, whisper what I want to celebrate, and I can almost see the branches swaying with me. (I know it's crazy and silly right, but oh so fun!)
Dance to this playlist! (one song or more.)
Sing along to this song.
Call the laughter line--yup there is one! Laughing with strangers who become friends is the bees knees of celebrating!
Easy Peasy! Call or leave a voice message with a friend to share the joy. Thank you good friends of mine!!
Go visit my grand-dog Mia. She is the most celebratory being I know. She is happier to see me than anyone, ever. Being with her is an uplifting love fest.
Here she is! Mia.
Okay. Ready. Set. Go.
Write down three or four or seven or more -- ways you celebrate!
And...
I put together a sweet zoom class to help you apply Ritual & Celebration to your life: We'll explore these topics through writing, conversation, and connection, and you'll leave with a plan you can implement!
Join me Tuesday October 26 for this Special Class.
Ritual & Celebration
The class is free…my gift to you.
Click here to RSVP and for more info.
I look forward to seeing you there and growing our consciousness together! If you already signed up thank you! I wanted you to receive this in the hopes that you begin to consider celebrations before we meet.
