Wanna Hold an Intention for the 2024 U.S. Presidential Election?

​I am so excited to share this post!


An invitation to set a weekly intention for the upcoming U.S. presidential election!


For some reason beginning this particular intention practice has given me a sense of relief and hope! So I thought it might for you too!

To give a little history and info first;


As some of you may know I’ve been exploring the art and practice of setting clear intentions for a while now.

And I’ve devoted quite a bit of time studying others who are doing the leg work scientifically, and gathering data about how to harness this level of collective consciousness and what the results are. The stories and data are remarkable!

The three people I have primarily read and studied with are:

Manda Scott, Lynne MacTaggart, and Joe Dispenza.

Check out their websites or read Lynne's books.

They all have a slightly different flavor on how they practice, and their ways of offering.

My values and ethics align most with Manda's work. They include consciousness about not taking more than we need and attending and pointing our intentions to create a regenerative future for all. (which of course includes ourselves)


Soooo-----


We want to invite you to do a group intention with us! (my group from Manda's course meet every Wednesday at 5:15 pm PST to practice together)

We want to see the person elected as someone who unifies the people and is a leader in creating a regenerative world.

We are going to hold this intention every Wednesday at 5:30 pm PST. Every week! For 5 to 10 minutes.

INTENTION: WE ELECTED A PRESIDENT WHO UNIFIES THE PEOPLE AND IS A LEADER IN CREATING A REGENERATIVE WORLD FOR ALL.

I also ran this by my teacher Manda Scott and she said that it was great and go ahead, and she also offered a more global generative intention too!

Here it is:

OUR LOCAL, NATIONAL AND INTERNATIONAL GOVERNANCE SYSTEMS FULLY EXPRESSES THE INTERBEING OF ALL LIFE IN A WAY THAT LEAVES ALL LIVING BEINGS SAFE, JOYFUL, EMPOWERED AND FULFILLED.

Choose which one feels best for you.

This one from Manda includes the one above so either one is great!!

Here is how this works:

You set a timer.

You take a couple deep breaths and ground yourself as best you can.

Then sense into a moment of gratitude in your life.

Breathe that in.

Turn the timer on.

It helps to be in the same place every time if you can. No pressure.

Also it’s helpful (not necessary) to tune into the group, imagine yourself with others doing this in whatever way works for you.

For the full time focus your attention on the intention and imagine the world you/we will be living in when that intention happens. How are you feeling? What do you see when this happens? How is your day flowing? What is the world around you like? Use all your senses and your imagination?

Just 5-10 minutes a week.

We potentially have a lot to gain.

And not a whole lot to lose.

Attention and intention is a currency we have a lot of agency over!

If this calls to you do the best you can. Put it on your calendar!! If you forget at this time but remember later do it then.

Gather a group of people to do it on zoom or the phone or in person! If you forget one week, do it the next. No need to be perfect!
